Our Firm

At Acacia Elder Law & Estate Planning, PLLC, we help individuals and families in Palm Beach Gardens, Jupiter, West Palm Beach, and throughout South Florida and the Treasure Coast plan for the future with clarity and confidence.

Our firm focuses on estate planning, elder law, probate, guardianship, trust administration, and Medicaid planning. We work with clients who want to protect what they have built, prepare for incapacity, avoid unnecessary court involvement where possible, and make difficult life transitions easier for the people they love.

We believe legal planning should be practical, personal, and understandable. Too often, families are left with confusing documents, unanswered questions, or no plan at all. Our goal is to provide clear guidance and thoughtful solutions tailored to each client’s circumstances, whether that means preparing a will, creating a revocable living trust, planning for long-term care, helping a family through probate, or advising on guardianship and incapacity issues.

Acacia Elder Law & Estate Planning was founded by Nicholas A. David, a Florida attorney dedicated to helping families navigate some of the most important legal and financial decisions of their lives. He created the firm to offer a more personal and responsive client experience, with a focus on education, careful planning, and compassionate counsel.

We understand that estate planning and elder law are not just about documents. They are about protecting your family, preserving dignity, preparing for the unexpected, and creating peace of mind. Whether you are planning ahead, helping an aging parent, administering a loved one’s estate, or trying to understand Medicaid eligibility and long-term care options, our firm is here to help you move forward with confidence.

Our Attorney

Nicholas A. David, Esq. is the founder of Acacia Elder Law & Estate Planning, PLLC, where he advises individuals and families in Palm Beach County and throughout South Florida in the areas of probate, estate planning, and elder law. The firm primarily serves clients in Palm Beach County, and also works with clients in Broward, Miami-Dade, St. Lucie, and Martin Counties, as well as elsewhere in Florida when appropriate.

Nicholas is committed to helping families at every stage of life navigate important legal decisions with clarity and calm guidance. He takes a direct, client-centered, educational, and approachable approach to his practice, with a focus on making complex issues easier to understand and helping clients feel informed, prepared, and supported.

He founded Acacia Elder Law & Estate Planning out of a long-standing desire to build a practice centered on personal service and thoughtful solutions. That commitment is rooted in personal experience. Nicholas saw firsthand the impact an elder law attorney can have when a trusted family friend in New York helped his grandparents through important elder law issues with care, attention, and personalized guidance. That experience shaped his belief that families deserve an attorney who takes the time to listen, understand their concerns, and pursue the right solution for their unique circumstances.

Nicholas graduated in the top 10% of his class from St. Thomas University College of Law, earning his J.D. magna cum laude and receiving numerous top marks in both doctrinal and elective coursework. He also graduated cum laude from SUNY Stony Brook for his undergraduate studies.

He is a member of The Florida Bar, the Elder Law Section, the Real Property, Probate & Trust Law Section, and the Solo & Small Firm Section.

When he is not helping families in the local community plan for the future and navigate difficult transitions, Nicholas enjoys spending time with his wife and son. A lifelong hockey player, he can also be found cheering on the New York Islanders.
