Accessibility Statement
This statement was last updated on March 20, 2026
We at Acacia Elder Law & Estate Planning, PLLC are working to make our site acaciaelderlaw.com accessible to people with disabilities. We strive to provide an online experience that is reasonably accessible, inclusive, and effective for people using assistive technologies and for visitors with visual, hearing, mobility, cognitive, neurological, speech, and other disabilities.
We recognize that accessibility is an ongoing effort. Our website and digital content are reviewed and updated from time to time as part of our broader efforts to improve usability, clarity, and access for all users.
Accessibility Standards and Approach
In working to improve the accessibility of our website, we seek to use generally recognized accessibility practices and, where reasonably practicable, design and develop content with reference to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (“WCAG”) 2.2, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (“W3C”). WCAG is organized around four principles: content should be perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust.
We also recognize that the Americans with Disabilities Act (“ADA”) requires covered entities to provide effective communication and equal access to goods and services, including those offered online. Because accessibility can be affected by evolving standards, browser behavior, assistive technology, third-party integrations, and changing website content, we do not represent that our website will operate flawlessly in every circumstance or for every user at all times.
Measures We May Use to Support Accessibility
Depending on the nature of the page, feature, or content, we may use one or more of the following practices to improve accessibility and usability:
• meaningful page structure, including headings, lists, labels, and descriptive link text;
• keyboard-accessible navigation and interactive elements where reasonably supported;
• sufficient color contrast and readable typography to the extent reasonably practicable;
• alternative text or other text equivalents for meaningful non-decorative images, where appropriate;
• captions, transcripts, or equivalent alternatives for certain multimedia content, where appropriate;
• forms, buttons, and controls designed to provide clear instructions and feedback;
• responsive layouts intended to support desktop, tablet, and mobile access; and
• periodic testing, review, remediation, or consultation using internal tools, external tools, or knowledgeable service providers.
Ongoing Improvement
Accessibility is not a one-time project. We may review our website on a periodic basis and may make updates, repairs, redesigns, or content changes intended to improve accessibility over time. We may also prioritize remediation based on the nature of the issue, the volume of affected content, the resources required, and the impact on users seeking access to our services or information.
Because websites are dynamic, previously remediated pages or features may later be affected by content updates, software patches, system changes, browser updates, plug-ins, embedded tools, or third-party code. We therefore encourage users to contact us if they encounter an accessibility barrier.
Third-Party Content and Platforms
Certain portions of our website may rely on or link to third-party content, software, plug-ins, widgets, maps, payment portals, scheduling tools, video players, document viewers, social media features, or other services that are not owned or controlled by us. We cannot guarantee the accessibility of third-party content or platforms, nor can we control changes made by those providers after integration.
When reasonably feasible, we may consider accessibility in selecting or retaining vendors and may attempt to provide accessible alternatives or workarounds for important functions. However, third-party content may present limitations beyond our direct control.
Compatibility and Assistive Technology
Our website is intended to be compatible, to the extent reasonably practicable, with commonly used modern browsers and assistive technologies. Nevertheless, website performance may vary depending on the browser, device, operating system, assistive technology, configuration, language settings, internet connection, or other technical factors used by a visitor.
Users may have the best experience by using current versions of supported browsers and keeping assistive technology, browser software, and device operating systems updated.

Response Process
When we receive an accessibility-related request, report, or complaint, we may review the matter internally and, when appropriate, with relevant website developers, vendors, or service providers. We may request additional information to better understand the issue. We will make commercially reasonable efforts to respond within a reasonable time, but response and remediation times may vary depending on the complexity of the request, technical constraints, security considerations, and the availability of personnel or third-party support.
Submission of a request or report does not guarantee that a particular feature, format, or content item can or will be modified in a specific manner. However, we value good-faith reports and may use them to inform future updates and improvements.
No Warranty; Reservation of Rights
This Accessibility Statement describes our general efforts and intentions regarding website accessibility. It is not a guarantee, warranty, or representation that every page, document, file, image, form, feature, or third-party integration will be accessible to every user under every circumstance. Accessibility may be affected by factors beyond our immediate control, including evolving standards, legacy content, third-party services, device-specific limitations, and assistive technology compatibility.
